About
What does a truly African approach to medicine look like? -------------- Speaker: Eiseke Bolaji This study explores traditional Yoruba medicine and the threat of its loss as oral transmission patterns change. Challenging Western archival methods, it proposes a community-centered digital framework that preserves this botanical knowledge strictly through Yoruba epistemological classificatory systems. Discover how digital technologies can serve as a "living infrastructure," ensuring ancestral plant knowledge remains a vital resource for a Yoruba-centered African renaissance.
