About the role

Apply for Assistant Manager – Risk Quality Assurance at Geothermal Development Company (GDC), a government-owned company in Nairobi tasked with developing steam fields for KenGen and private investors. You must have 12 years of experience, with at least 3 years in Principal Risk & Quality Assurance or a comparable position. You must hold a BA/BSc/HND, MBA/MSc/MA, or Professional Certificate in Commerce, Economics, Business, Administration, ICT, Mathematics, Statistics, or Quality Assurance. You must also possess a Level II Certificate in Risk and Quality Assurance or equivalent from a recognized institution, or a Lead Auditor certificate from a recognized standards organization.

Requirements

• Cumulative service period of twelve (12) years' work experience, three (3) of which should have been in the grade of Principal Risk & Quality Assurance Officer or in a comparable;
• Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce, Economics, Business, Administration, Administration, ICT, Mathematics, Statistics
• Master's degree in engineering/science/business/social sciences with a Bachelor's degree in engineering/science/business/social sciences or Masters in field of Quality Assurance
• Post graduate certificate in geothermal technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
• Level II Certificate in Risk and Quality Assurance or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
• Lead auditor certificate in Risk and Quality Management System from a recognized standards organization
• Membership to a relevant professional body where applicable
• Leadership Course lasting not less four (4) weeks from a recognized institution
