About the role

Renaissance Africa Energy Company is seeking a high-performing Operations and Maintenance Technician for the 2026 Renaissance Africa Energy Company Operations and Maintenance Technician Program. Candidates must possess an Ordinary National Diploma (OND/ND), Full Technological Certificate, Advanced Technical Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electronics, or Sciences. Applicants must have at least two years of relevant experience in technical maintenance, field operations, or control room operations within an industrial, energy, oil and gas, or manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Ordinary National Diploma (OND/ND), Full Technological Certificate, Advanced Technical Diploma, relevant trade qualification or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering,
• Relevant technical certification or professional qualification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience in technical maintenance, field operations and/or control room operations within an industrial, manufacturing, energy, oil and gas
• Experience in upstream production operations, particularly within the oil and gas, petrochemical, manufacturing or industrial maintenance sectors, will be an added advantage.
• Candidates should demonstrate: Competence in their relevant technical discipline and assigned equipment.
• Understanding of preventive, corrective and first-line maintenance practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process failures and contribute effectively to root-cause analysis.
• Competence in Permit-to-Work, task risk assessment and safe isolation practices.
