Loan Officer

About the role

This is a sales + customer service role in financial services. You are the person who brings borrowers to the company and helps them get loans, then makes sure they pay back.What you will do: Find customers - Go out to markets, shops, schools, offices to pitch loan products to individuals, small business owners, and salary earners. Explain loans - Tell customers about loan types, interest rate, repayment plan, and requirements. Help with applications - Assist customers to fill forms, collect documents (ID, BVN, salary slip, business proof), and do basic KYC. Assess customers - Visit their shop/business/home to confirm they are genuine and can repay. Follow up on repayments - Call and visit customers to remind them of due dates and collect payments. You will have a target. Build trust - Keep good relationship with your customers so they renew and refer others.

Requirements

• OND, NCE, HND, or Bachelor's degree.
• NYSC Corp Members and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong interest in financial services, sales, and customer acquisition.
• Willingness to learn and work with targets.
