About the role

Anambra State Civil Service Commission is recruiting full-time positions in the Vehicle Inspection Services Department of the Anambra State Ministry of Transport. The recruitment covers three cadres: Vehicle Inspection Officer II (Cadre: Mechanical Engineer Cadre, Grade 08), Vehicle Inspection Superintendent (Cadre: Works Superintendent Cadre, Grade 06), and Vehicle Inspection Assistant (Cadre: Artisan/Craftsman Cadre, Grade 03). Eligible candidates must be Nigerian citizens aged 18-50, possess valid Local Government identification, and meet specific engineering or trade qualifications. Requirements

• Nigerian citizens by birth.
• Between 18 and 50 years old.
• Valid Local Government identification.
• B.Eng. or an equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering or a related engineering discipline from a recognised institution.
• OND or an equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering or a related engineering discipline from a recognised Polytechnic or other institution.
• First School Leaving Certificate.
• Pass in the Federal Ministry of Labour Trade Test Certificate Class III in the appropriate trade.
• NYSC discharge certificates.
