Call For Voluntary Evaluators Vacancies

About the role

Animal Welfare League is recruiting Voluntary Evaluators to join its AWL Research Evaluation Panel. Candidates must possess working knowledge of agriculture, livestock, economics, poultry production, standards, statistics, trade, or supply-chain analysis. Applicants must demonstrate expertise in the markets or countries they know and approximate their annual contribution time. The panel will form for 2026 and 2027 studies, with first assignments expected in October 2026. Evaluators will receive $250 token honorariums and named credit upon publication. The deadline for each assignment is communicated at least two weeks before acceptance.

Requirements

• Agricultural, livestock or applied economics.
• Poultry production science, including layer and broiler systems.
• Commercial poultry in African markets, including production, processing, retail or supply.
• Standards development, regulation or public policy.
• Statistics, econometrics or quantitative methods.
• Trade, customs and supply-chain analysis.
• Agricultural engineering, construction costing or quantity surveying.
