About the role

Maroriem Consults is a Nigeria-based accounting and consulting firm helping small and medium-sized businesses manage their bookkeeping, tax compliance, payroll, financial reporting, and advisory needs. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our Finance & Accounting team. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or be currently pursuing a relevant degree. The role requires 0–1 year of accounting or finance experience, including internship, industrial training, NYSC, or entry-level experience.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or be currently pursuing a relevant degree.
• 0–1 year of accounting or finance experience, including internship, industrial training, NYSC, or entry-level experience.
• A basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Familiarity with financial documentation and account reconciliations.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with Sage, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
