About the role
G-Prest Imperial Limited, maker of Ginika Feeds, is hiring a Deputy Production Manager for its automated feed mill in Owerri, Imo State. You will run daily feed production to quality targets, keep the mill compliant with safety, hygiene, SON and NAFDAC rules, manage raw materials and waste, supervise and train the production team, work with maintenance on equipment issues and send daily and weekly reports to the Chairman/CEO. It suits a graduate in production, chemical or electrical engineering, agriculture or animal science with 2-4 years of hands-on feed production experience (premix, poultry or fish feed). Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or B.Tech in Production, Chemical or Electrical Engineering, Agriculture, Animal Science, Animal Production or a related field
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in feed production (premix, poultry feed, fish feed or related)
- Computer literacy, including production software and controls
- Ability to supervise and train factory workers
- Willingness to live and work full-time in Owerri, Imo State
