Control System Engineer

About the role

INTECH Automation Intelligence is hiring a permanent Control System Engineer in Port Harcourt to design and deliver industrial automation for oil and gas, petrochemicals, utilities and renewable energy clients. You will design and implement DCS, SIS and Fire and Gas system hardware on platforms such as DeltaV, Yokogawa, PI and GE Mark VI, read P&IDs and cause-and-effect diagrams, run system testing and Factory Acceptance Tests, and handle commissioning, startup and site support. It suits an engineer with 6-8 years in industrial automation, hands-on with 2-3 PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider) and 1-2 DCS platforms, who is willing to travel and stay on site for long periods. Requirements

• 6-8 years of industrial automation or control systems experience
• Hands-on experience with 2-3 PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens and Schneider Electric
• Experience with 1-2 DCS platforms, including DeltaV, Yokogawa or GE Mark VI
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation, field instruments, control valves and calibration
• Basic understanding of electrical and solar power systems
• Previous site services experience
• Willingness to travel and stay on-site for extended periods
