The World Veterinary Association (WVA) and MSD Animal Health are accepting applications for the 2026 Veterinary Student Scholarship Program. The initiative will grant 40 scholarships of US5,000 each (totaling US200,000) to support the academic advancement and professional development of undergraduate veterinary students
Eligibility — verbatim from the source
Enrolled for the 2026–2027 academic session at an accredited/recognized school of veterinary medicine. Must be a citizen or student studying in an eligible country within Africa, Latin America, North Africa/Middle East, or Asia/Oceania. Year of Study: Must have passed all first-year examinations and be enrolled in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th year (for 6-year programs). Ineligible Years: First-year and final-year veterinary students are not eligible. Exclusions: Postgraduate students (Master’s/PhD) and past recipients of any WVA/MSD Animal Health scholarship are not eligible. Must have a personal bank account registered in your own name capable of receiving international wire transfers via the SWIFT network. All applications, essays, and documents must be submitted in English.
