About

CODESRIA invites African researchers to apply for research grants on university ecosystems, covering themes such as gender, policy, equity, governance and social transformation. What you get: research funding of USD 5,000 to 15,000 over 15 months, plus opportunities for academic publication and policy engagement. Who can apply: researchers affiliated with a recognised African higher education or research institution. Diaspora scholars may apply with colleagues at an African-based institution. Interdisciplinary and multi-country teams are encouraged, as are women scholars, early-career academics and researchers from less-resourced universities.
