The UNICEF Venture Fund is investing in open-source frontier-technology startups (AI, machine learning, data science) that improve the health, wellbeing, safety, economic empowerment and sexual and reproductive health and rights of women and girls. What you get: up to USD 100,000 in equity-free funding, plus 12 months of technical mentorship and access to UNICEF's global network. Who can apply: for-profit startups registered in a UNICEF programme country (including Nigeria and Ghana), with a functional prototype, committed to open-source licensing.
